General J.H.Vance: Hi everyone, this is General Vance, your Chief of Defence Staff. I’d like to wish all of you a fantastic Christmas holiday, Happy Holidays, and a great 2017. I’m thinking about all you troops deployed…thank you for your service, your sacrifice, your courage while deployed, I wish you all a safe return. To all of you and your families from mine, have a great Christmas, great holidays, and a great 2017. Thank you.

Dr. Marc Fortin: I wish you peace and happiness for a happy, merry Christmas holiday. I also wish you serenity for the new year to better understand, better focus on what’s important to us, our family, our friends, and our country. And loads of fun.

Edison Stewart: Hi, from the best communications team in the Government of Canada. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Rear-Admiral Darren Hawco : And from the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff group, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to all CAF members deployed around the world.

Major-General Mike Rouleau: Whether I’m talking to you from Africa, Afghanistan, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East, wherever you are, we want to take a moment to say Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, take care of the mission, take care of yourselves, and we look forward to seeing you when you get back home. Take care.

ADM (IM) Len Bastien: Happy Holidays to the Defence Team. You know you guys bring your ‘A game’ every day. And we see it in the products and capabilities that we put out. Time to take a timeout. Go enjoy your friends and family this holiday season, and we’ll see you back here in 2017. Let’s go enjoy some hockey.

Every year is always extremely busy…I just want to tell you what a privilege it is to be Minister of National Defence, and I want to sincerely thank you for making my life a lot easier, because everywhere I get to go, I receive the congratulations of the work that all of you do, so thank you for making Canada look so good.
